The Furnace Review accepts submissions throughout the year on a rolling basis.

Deadlines
Spring — March 1
Summer — June 1
Fall — September 1
Winter — December 1

Submissions received after the deadlines will be considered for publication in the next issue.

Guidelines:
Poetry submissions of more than five poems (75 lines max) will not be considered.
Prose and creative nonfiction of more than 7,000 words will not be considered.

Include your name, email address, and a short bio on the first page of your submission. Submissions missing this information will not be considered for publication.

The Furnace Review also seeks submissions of artwork or photography for its cover page and website motif. Images must be submitted via e-mail, in formats .JPG, .GIF, or .TIF.

The Furnace Review claims first rights of all work, literary and artistic, that appears on this site. We regretfully are unable to compensate writers and artists at this time.
