POEM FOR FLOATZEL*

Your airsack
is swollen
and beautiful.

Lift me out
of all these
dimensions

weighing me
down like
a thousand

tiny statues
tied to my
feet. Take

me to Japan.
I don’t need
a self there,

do I? Show
me your magic
over by the koi.

We can travel
the hills together,
gaining

experience, and
then, when we
have enough

we will evolve.
We will become
better versions

of ourselves,
masters of this
reality, where

all our wounds
with a single
potion can be

healed.
